Morning! How was your weekend? Spectacular, awesome, lazy,
busy? Mine was half lazy, half getting things accomplished. The perfect mix if
I do say so myself. It was Logan’s
weekend with his dad so it was just the dogs and Gray and I.
I squeezed in a little girl time with my friend Jean after work on Friday and
we spent some time out with friends this weekend. We ran errands, had a little
day coffee date and a trip to the comic book store. I finally cleaned out my
car so that it no longer looks I've been living out of it for a year and
made some delicious zucchini bread! I also painted my nails (finally) and
started reading the last Hunger Games book , again. I really want to finish it before
the movie comes out.
OPI // Rainbow Connection ~ Thanks to Lindsay for letting me try it out!
I really want Gray to trim his mustache but he insists on looking as homeless as possible when he goes to SXSW every year for work. Only a few more weeks, thank god!
Zucchini bread! I have been craving it lately and it was pretty yummy for my first try. I used this recipe.
I literally sit by the window, pace and wait for this handsome face to get home from his dad's every other weekend. I miss him like crazy when he is gone. So glad he is only ever gone every other weekend. I don't think I could handle more than that. Mama's you know how it is when your babies are away.
Logan came home just in time for dinner and the Oscar’s. He had another weekend full of birthday parties so he was pretty tuckered out by the time he got home. Waffles never wastes any time getting right to snuggling on Logan’s lap and they go straight into veg mode.
All in all, it was a pretty good weekend. Really hoping that this week is amazing, I’m bound and determined that it will be. That’s just kind of my attitude right now, good things will happen. Anything you are looking forward to this week?
